This set is solid—the glass base is heavy and stays put. It’s also really pretty. My bathroom is tiny with almost now storage space and I’m glad to have a cleaning tool that I can happily leave out in plain view all the time. The last toilet brush I had was a plastic model in a holder that fell apart when I used it. It was the latest in a line of toilet brushes that were more or less usable but flimsy. I’m very happy to have one that I expect to keep and use for a long time to come

The Sparkles Home Faceted toilet brush and holder is, indeed, quite luxe and fancy in looks. While unboxing my husband asked if it was a vase for flowers. The holder is golden color and faceting makes it catch the light. The chrome look cover is part of the toilet brush and this is the part the toilet brush screws into. In actual use the scrub brush works as well as any bristle style brush. I deducted a star because I don't where one would by a replacement brush head and at this price point that's a necessity so you don't have to toss the whole unit just because the brush is played out.
