Faceting cuts the surface into flat planes, so the piece throws sharp points of light that shift as you move past it, closer to how a cut stone behaves than to an even glossy finish. It suits a bath with a mirror and hard overhead lighting, where those planes have something to catch. This is also the practical line: the toilet brush takes replacement heads, so the sparkle housing outlasts the part that wears out.
